The Campbell's Russian hamster or the dwarf hamster looks alike the Chinese hamster in markings but is nothing like the Chinese hamster. The Campbell's hamster has been called the ''mean'' hamster due to it biting more than most hamster species. But this how ever is not true. This species just need a little more attention than others.
